Requires review before launch. This document is a working draft prepared as a starting point. It must be reviewed and adapted by a qualified legal adviser familiar with UAE law and with Abu Dhabi Department of Health requirements before the site goes live. Placeholders in square brackets must be completed.
Everything published on this website is general education about reproductive medicine. It is not individual medical advice.
No doctor-patient relationship
Reading this website, submitting a question through it, subscribing to a webinar or receiving an email does not create a doctor-patient relationship between you and Dr Erdal Budak. That relationship is created only by a formal consultation.
General information, not individual advice
Fertility medicine is highly individual. The same test result, the same diagnosis and the same treatment can mean very different things for two different people. Nothing here takes account of your history, your examination, your investigations or your circumstances, and it should not be used to make a decision about your own care without discussing it with your own doctor.
Urgent symptoms
Do not use this website, the question form or email for anything urgent. If you have severe abdominal pain, heavy bleeding, fever, breathlessness or reduced urine output, particularly after egg collection or in early pregnancy, contact your treating doctor or emergency services immediately.
Accuracy and currency
Content is written or reviewed by Dr Erdal Budak and carries the date it was last reviewed. Reproductive medicine changes, and regulation in the United Arab Emirates changes. Where a page carries a review date more than a year old, treat time-sensitive detail with caution and check the current position.
Regulatory information
References to Department of Health policy, Thiqa coverage or other regulatory requirements are summaries provided for orientation only. They are not a statement of current regulation, and the authoritative position must always be confirmed with the relevant authority or with your treating clinic at the time of treatment.

Links to external websites and scientific sources are provided for reference. No responsibility is accepted for the content of external sites.
Questions answered publicly
Questions submitted through Ask Dr Budak or for a webinar may be answered publicly and anonymously. Those answers are general education only, they are not a diagnosis, and they carry the same limitations as the rest of this website.
